While you’re given a center console for the front seats of both cars, what about the second row? In the Nissan, you can expect to get a dedicated second-row center console to tuck away any necessary belongings, like tissues, phones, gloves, and more.

Which Car Carries More Technology Devices?

Lots of technology features pop up throughout your vehicle. The Nissan supplies you with an available 9-inch touch-screen display, while the Honda gives you one inch less with their 8-inch Display Audio Touch-Screen.

With the 2022 Pathfinder, you’re going to find the right path somehow with three optional navigation tools. Nissan Door to Door Navigation, Google Maps™, Waze™, and your smartphone apps bring you multiple ways to get to one place. 

Of course, with the Honda, you can opt for the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™. Unless you use your map apps through your phone, though, that’s the extent of your journey.

Instead of continually looking down at your dashboard, you’ll see stats like gas mileage and directions in the Pathfinder, thanks to the available Head-Up Display on your windshield. Surprisingly, the Honda does not provide this device.

Which Car Provides Unique Safety Features?

If you know anything about both Nissan and Honda cars, you know that they prioritize safety. Nissan provides you with the Safety Shield® 360, while Honda offers Honda Sensing®. You’ll find some similarities, but only the Nissan gives you standard Rear Automatic Braking.

The Nissan adds one standard feature you will not get in the Honda. Intelligent Driver Alertness monitors your pattern of driving. If the system senses that you’re veering out of the lane, for example, it sends you both audible and visual warnings that encourage you to take a break.

Are You Looking for Rugged or Family Friendly?

When you evaluate performance, you could be referring to two very different styles of vehicles. The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder either comes with 2WD or the available Intelligent 4x4 drivetrain. With the Honda, you’ll have standard 2WD, but there is an optional AWD drivetrain. This makes one vehicle appear more rugged, and another comes off as a more family-friendly vehicle.

Both SUVs also provide driving modes to conquer the diverse terrain you may face. Although the Honda Pilot’s Intelligent Traction Management System gives you four modes, the Nissan Pathfinder includes seven drive and terrain modes to tackle uncharted stomping grounds.

Either one can be affixed with a trailer. Check first how much you want to tow and what these vehicles furnish. Nissan carries a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 pounds when properly equipped, while the Honda has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.
